What could have warranted a young man to take his own life?
This question top the lips of people in Ondo town as a middle age man identify as Kenneth committed suicide Thursday.
Kenneth, 20, took his own life without dropping a note on why he did so.
He was reported to have swallowed substances suspected to be pesticide, and gave up the ghost few minutes after.
According to sources, the deceased was a house help to a popular Ondo man until his death.
Daily Times gathered that the lifeless body of the deceased was found at home at about 8pm.
Confirming the incidence, the Police Public Rations Officer (PPRO), Ondo State Command, ASP Wole Ogodo, said that the deceased did not leave any note before taking his own life.
Ogodo revealed that know one could really give information on reasons why the young boy committed suicide.
He added that the corpse has been taken for autopsy and stressed that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), in Akure for thorough investigation.
He however assured that the command has commenced investigation to unravel the cause of the death.
