Al-Mustapha Moves to Stop Killings in Southern Kaduna

Former Chief Security Officer (CSO) to General Sani Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha has vowed to put an end to the incessant killings of Villagers in various communities of Southern Kaduna.

The former CSO, who was more particular about the continuous killings in Attakar Chiefdom of Kaura local government in Kaduna State, described the killings taking place in Southern Kaduna as unacceptable.

Al-Mustapha, who made the vow while donating relief materials to the victims of crises in Attakar Chiefdom, alleged that the crises in the border towns of Kaduna and Plateau states and the 2011 post election crises that greeted the country was behind killings in Southern Kaduna.

While appealing to all communities of Plateau and Kaduna states to eschewed bitterness and forgive themselves for peace to rained, said his mission was to ensure a peaceful Nigeria.

"My mission here is a mission of peace and nothing else. The 2011 election crises and border crises between Kaduna and plateau communities from what we have gathered, is the main issue that must be addressed quickly.

"I will ensure that Kaduna and Plateau state border dispute which is a contributing factor to the crises is resolved. Even if it will take me to go to court, I will go to court if the Kaduna and the Plateau state government did not addressed the boundary dispute," Al-Mustapha said.

According to him: "Anyone that is affected by any of the crises, will be invited to Abuja under my sponsorship for heart to heart discussing because what is happening in Southern Kaduna is worrying. I will sit with all of you to ensure that anything that affect you here in Kaduna that need a solution from the Plateau State government, inform me and I will take the matter to them for prompt solution.
